“How fabulous is this community?!! As we enter week 13 of this new era we want to take the time to express gratitude. Much has been said about the amazing staff and Physicians we have at our hospital – they truly are stepping up to ensure that we have the best care possible in the safest environment possible.
Added to these heroes are the growing list of donors we have. The Fund Development Committee is grateful for all the support our hospital has received and is continually receiving. Support has been received in many forms: financially and through the making of caps, masks and surgical gowns. Individuals and businesses have stepped up to donate material, and others have used their talents to sew hundreds of items to be added to personal protective supplies. Morale has been boosted by people placing painted rocks with supportive messages in the gardens. There are many people that deserve thanks.
Every dollar, every sewing project, every piece of rock art makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.”
Thank you Lillian for your efficient and pleasant service.

Dear Friends and Family
I would like to
share that as of June 1st, I will be retiring from Scotiabank after 40 years of
I consider myself very
fortunate to have made so many good friends and acquaintances.
I want to thank you all for being part of my life and I wish you well.
In lieu of a
retirement celebration or gifts, I have asked my workplace to make a donation
to QHC North Hastings Hospital.
We and many of our
families, have often made or will make, use of this hospital.
If possible, to celebrate with me, I invite you to help support our hospital
(or a healthcare centre of your choice), with a donation.
On Nov 6, 2019 – Kim Bishop and Jean Menard attended the Faraday Township https://www.faraday.ca/ council meeting to thank them for their on-going support. The Ultra Sound room was named after Faraday Township a few years ago, when Faraday passed the $100,000 in donations. Our hospital as well as the whole community appreciates Faraday’s strong support.
Kim making a payment to QHC to pay for the Pochi (CBC Analyzer), a piece of equipment that we had committed to buy for our North Hastings Hospital. This equipment helps doctors and nurses analyse the blood faster for faster diagnosis of emergency patients. The Bancroft Hosptial Fund development team helps update and expand the much-needed equipment to serve North Hastings area.
