Donation from Choices Thrift Shop
Another amazing gift from Choices. This time by donating $24,980 they are paying for a blood fridge and five IV pumps.
We so much appreciate your continuing support for our hospital.

Open House for Elected Officials
On February 13, 2019 the North Hastings Fund Development Committee hosted an information meeting for elected officials of North Hastings. A small group took a break from shovelling snow to meet with us for an informative session. We discussed some most recent, unprecedented gifts, noting one from an Estate, which reminded everyone that planned giving is an important part of estate planning. We also discussed the current commitments to QHC North Hastings and increasing funding expectations for the next few years. During the tour of the hospital we were able to show the high prices associated with new equipment which was a surprise to the guests as well as the staff. The evening ended with questions and answers on current and future plans for healthcare in North Hastings and specifically at the hospital.

Photo Adorns our New Triage
The photos on the new Triage department doors were taken by local photographer Greg Kuno. Greg is a long time employee of QHC North Hastings which makes these photos not only important as a beautiful reminder of the views of the Eagle’s Nest but also important that Greg is a valued employee of QHC NH. These photos provide patients with a recognizable view.
Donation from Faraday Township
. We are grateful for the Faraday Council who has, once again, recognized the importance of supporting the North Hastings hospital. The Faraday Council donated $20,000 towards priority medical equipment that is needed in our hospital.
Hastings County Council Donation

In 2017 Hastings County Council pledged $50,000 per year for 3 years.
We used most of this money on the renovations to the reprocessing rooms so on June 19, 2018 we dedicated these two rooms to County Council with this plaque.
County Council was then taken for a tour of our facility, highlighting the newly renovated reprocessing rooms.
QHC North Hastings is very grateful for this generous contribution.
