On Oct 4, 2017 Kim Bishop and Tammy Davis of QHC – North Hastings Fund Dev. accepted a $20,000 donation from Faraday Township.

Faraday has been a great supporter of the Bancroft hospital over many years. We truly appreciate Faraday’s commitment to maintaining good quality health care in our area.






Donation from Papineau Lake Assoc.

Carey Mollenhauer, Raffle Committee Chair and Anna Salay, Raffle Committee Member made a presentation in the amount of $1150.00 to Quinte Health Care North Hastings. The funds were raised through a raffle held at the annual regatta on the August long weekend, sponsored by the Papineau Lake Community Association. Appreciation is extended to the many cottagers and local merchants who have supported the raffle fundraiser over the years.

This money will be directed towards this year’s commitments (ultrasound table, Omnicell console for trauma room, renovations to triage and re-processing room). Thank you so much for your continuing support, it is truly appreciated.






Donation from Whitney’s Trivia Night

Elaine Szczygiel and Theresa Kramer of the Whitney Seniors Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser donated $1,200 to our hospital. A much appreciated gift.

The event is called Whitney Seniors Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser.
$2400.00 was raised by way of registrations, 50/50 draw and other raffles.  This amount is donated equally to the North Hastings Fund Development and St. Francis Valley Health Care Foundation in Barry’s Bay ($1200 each).


Reception for Choices

On April 12, 2017 the North Hastings Fund Development Committee hosted the Volunteers of the Choices Thrift Store for a dessert reception.  We gathered to express our gratitude to them for their hard work and commitment to supporting health care in our community.  Since 1991 Choices has donated over $379,000 to support the needs of Quinte Health Care North Hastings.  To formally recognize their contribution the Physiotherapy Department will now be known as “The Volunteers of Choices Thrift Store Physiotherapy Department”

Hastings Highlands

hastings-highlands-websiteThe Council of Hastings Highlands celebrates making their final pledge payment for the Caring Today for Tomorrow Diagnostic Campaign. The municipality made a 5 year donation totaling $50,000.
The Fund Development Committee is grateful for this vital and generous support.



Choices Thrift Shop


Choices celebrates 25 years of raising money for local causes (a total of more than $770,000)
North Hastings Hospital, as a major recipient of Choices’ generosity
was there to thank them with a plaque to commemorate this great event.

This money was raised at their 4th annual trivia night which includes raffles and 50/50 draws plus 14 teams of 6 at a cost 10 each to be on the team.
